Clouds

What can I learn from clouds?

Clouds move slowly across the sky, seamlessly morphing from one shape to another. Fluffy clouds. Storm clouds. Large enough to hide the sun or small in an otherwise endless blue sky. They know nothing of choice or control. They exist or they don’t.

Whatever a cloud looks like right now, it has never looked like that before and it will never look like that again. It is beautiful but unaware that its existence is fleeting, at the mercy of its environment. Here today. Gone tomorrow. Accepting all.

Can I be as ephemeral and accepting as a cloud?
